Home found velox's internal mic dead on the AMD ACP digital-mic path and applied a WirePlumber drop-in by hand. The new task has the installer carry it, gated on the hardware, with the note to re-check after each kernel update. The closed Fn-keys task moves to the archive.

<title>chore(security): record the history rewrite and remap its SHAs</title>

The Signal pager number is rewritten out of every commit. 59 of 951 changed SHA, every descendant of the 08-17 post-rebuild-check commit, and tag v0.5 is untouched. The filter-repo map lands under assets/ so old citations can be translated. The cgit audit task carries the dated record and the release task notes that a full pre-release secrets scan is still owed. Sixteen citations of renamed SHAs across the task list, the task archive and the topgrade spec now point at the new ones.

<title>chore(assets): file the nine inbox handoffs worth keeping</title>

The inbox held 74 processed handoffs from July and August. Nine carry reference material (three hardware photos, the board-swap context and the settings-panel and agenda-json notes) and move flat into assets/ under dated names. The photos are downscaled to 1600px and stripped of EXIF before entering a cloneable repo. Four more were already filed under docs/design on 09-13, so the archive's diagnosis link now points there. Two stay out of the tree on purpose: their facts are recorded elsewhere and their text is not for a public repo. I deleted the rest: acknowledgements, receipts and requests that had already become tasks.

Three headsets drop HFP call audio on velox's MT7925, and the kernel's sentinel-handle errors match a pending upstream firmware report, so I'm replacing the card with an Intel AX210. I also filed the net doctor captive-portal task and archived two aged completed tasks.

Two tasks from the net doctor work: the static Proton WireGuard profiles pass no traffic (re-import them or go CLI-only), and the declined dot-link-restore branch has no direct test. The cleanup pass archived seven aged done-subtrees.

The F row issuing media actions was the Framework EC's Fn Lock. One
Fn+Esc toggle fixed it, confirmed live, so the task closes with no code
change. The F9 video-recording unbind turned out to be Emacs config,
not Hyprland, and went to that repo as a handoff. Also filed the net
panel speedtest-cancel capture as a task and archived three finished
tasks.

Two overnight hibernates ended with a dead battery. The journal and upower
history point at three separate faults, so I filed them as three children of
the sleep task: the Framework 13 AMD freeze on hibernate entry (with a
five-cycle observed test), the ZFS ARC starving the image preallocation so
suspend-then-hibernate only ever suspends, and the SD reader's media polling
blocking suspend outright. Until the freeze is confirmed the rule is written
down: no unattended hibernate on battery. Archived three finished clusters.

The topgrade freshness warning never clears because the stamp is written only when topgrade exits 0, and the live-update guard plus any failing ecosystem step makes that exit almost unreachable. The spec (DRAFT) weighs four ways to close that. Its open decisions are state versus recency, an armed boot-time oneshot, an arch-only boot run and a persistent one-shot arm flag.

Four tasks filed:
- the spec's decisions, review and decomposition
- ratio pulling .emacs.d before its Emacs 31.1 upgrade
- the stale lock-screen clock after a real sleep
- the Signal tray icon waybar can't read. Electron 43 registers it under a well-known bus name and answers property reads only there. Downgrading is closed off by the database schema.

The Lua-port task got its date and the sleep task carries the two Aug 23 hibernate failures. Wrap hygiene moved 42 aged resolved subtrees into the task archive.
