From 6c756ad3d02c5b201ee443f3b9fcb53323d2e19d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Craig Jennings Date: Mon, 5 Oct 2026 23:02:17 -0600 Subject: chore(security): take the Signal identity number out of the tracked tree A quoted log line in the reinstall-gaps design note and a post-rebuild-check fixture both carried the real number in a repo that is anonymously cloneable. The note now names it in words and the fixture uses a 555 number, which the checker treats the same. --- docs/design/2026-08-14-velox-reinstall-gaps-1.org | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/docs/design/2026-08-14-velox-reinstall-gaps-1.org b/docs/design/2026-08-14-velox-reinstall-gaps-1.org index b163cc8..0f8b3d9 100644 --- a/docs/design/2026-08-14-velox-reinstall-gaps-1.org +++ b/docs/design/2026-08-14-velox-reinstall-gaps-1.org @@ -97,7 +97,7 @@ and remote — it lands on the *other* machine. =signal-receive.service= ran for the first time and reported: -: signal-receive: +15045551234 not registered on this machine — nothing to do +: signal-receive: not registered on this machine — nothing to do velox's signal-cli data dir holds a 39-byte empty =accounts.json=.
