* Manual testing and validation

** Hyprland 0.57 Lua port survives a fresh login on velox
What we're verifying: waybar's reservation and the at_start chain work from a cold start, not only after a reload.
- Log out of Hyprland.
- Start Hyprland again from tty1 if it doesn't start on its own.

Expected: waybar sits fully on screen at the top, tiled windows start below it, and the block prints nothing.

** Hyprland 0.57 focus keys
What we're verifying: focus movement still works through hl.dsp calls.
- Open two tiled windows on one workspace.
- Press Super+J.
- Press Super+K.
Expected: focus moves to the other window on each press.

** Hyprland 0.57 swap into master
What we're verifying: Super+Return's two layout messages both run.
- Open two tiled windows on one workspace.
- Focus the window that isn't master.
- Press Super+Return.
Expected: the window swaps into master and keeps focus.

** Hyprland 0.57 split resize
What we're verifying: the layout-resize script changes the split.
- Open two tiled windows on one workspace.
- Press Super+H.
- Press Super+L.
Expected: the split moves one way and then back.

** Hyprland 0.57 layout toggles
What we're verifying: Super+Shift+M and Super+Shift+T work as Lua functions.
- Press Super+Shift+M.
- Press Super+Shift+T.
Expected: the first key goes to monocle and the second returns to tiled.

** Hyprland 0.57 push-to-talk
What we're verifying: push-to-talk binds its trigger through hl.bind and releases it cleanly.
- Turn push-to-talk on from the audio panel.
- Hold the grave key (the default trigger) and speak.
- Release the key.
- Turn push-to-talk off.
- Type a grave character into a text field.
Expected: the mic opens only while held, and the grave key types normally afterward.

** Hyprland 0.57 touchpad toggle
What we're verifying: toggle-touchpad reaches the device through hl.device on velox.

- Try the touchpad.
- Run the block again.
- Try the touchpad again.
Expected: the touchpad turns off after the first run and back on after the second.

** Hyprland 0.57 touchpad follows a mouse
What we're verifying: touchpad-auto reacts to a mouse on velox.
- Plug in a mouse.
- Try the touchpad.
- Remove the mouse.
- Try the touchpad again.
Expected: the touchpad is off while the mouse is in and on after it's removed.

** Hyprland 0.57 theme colors
What we're verifying: set-theme applies borders through hl.config.

- Check the active window's border.
Expected: the border shows dupre's color, not red.

** Hyprland 0.57 bluetooth and network panels
What we're verifying: both panels resize through the Lua form after their output well closes.
- Open the net panel.
- Run DOCTOR to expand the output well.
- Collapse the well.
- Open the bt panel.
- Run DOCTOR to expand the output well.
- Collapse the well.
Expected: each panel shrinks back to its normal size.

** Hyprland 0.57 wlogout logout
What we're verifying: wlogout ends the session through the Lua form.
- Save your work, since this ends the session.
- Open wlogout.
- Choose logout.
Expected: Hyprland exits and the desktop closes.
