iWinamp - By trifid, based on iTunes(by Apple Computer [www.apple.com/itunes])

*Disclaimer*
This skin is not made by Apple, it only resembles the iTunes interface.

Completly done in Photoshop 6.0 (under OSX.1, Classic mode!). Windows sharing thanks to Sharity.

  So, you notice some oddities?

Why isn't there a full Macintosh version of Winamp?

Why?

I use iTunes, and love the interface, not only the look. I thought, hey, what about a skin for Winamp? I use Winamp on the PC (I am bilingual, use PC and the Mac), and felt a void. So I went and made a skin. This is my second skin, the first was made very simple, army green and black. No shading, flat. Why? I wanted a simple skin. It was deleted, however, by a sibling in the household, I will say no more. Oh, and I was midway through a Panasonic SJ-MR200 skin when this unfortunate event occurred. I gave that up.

The cursors are skinned like a Mac - inverse of the PC.

Other Skins

Currently the only other skin I have out is

Flatty_V1

a very simple, elegant skin.

Winamp X v1.0 - By DeeLight

Although I did not copy the interface, a few items were used in iWinamp, from Winamp X v1.0. Although I could have made them myself, it was much easier to cut and paste. And it helped me understand what should be what color - a very helpful thing.

red, yellow, and clear top buttons

I highly recommend this, if you do not use mine. While it is not 100% like the Mac OS X interface, it is very clean and easy to use.

I don't have a homepage, but for a parody I did based on a "spy" report by a certain Mac webpage, go to:

So, you notice some oddities?

I plan on revising this over the next few weeks, I want to get a feel for it, see what I like, what I don't like. Specifically, I plan to modify the following:

Sharpen the main controls on the main window

Tweak the bezels to make them smoother

     Redo the collapsed title bars

     Redo the clutterbar

Unify the mini controls - some are antialiased, and others are not

Setting the playlist view flush with the slider, as it is in iTunes/OSX

I am not making these changes, because I think what I did is good for now. I want to see what people think, and, make all the changes at once. Let me know of any oddities. I noticed on double size mode the clipping paths change. If this is a problem, and you know how to fix this deplorable situation, let me know!

I don't know. I wish there was...

Not much to say here, be ready for 1.5 in a month or so. Finished the iWinamp skin, and hope it is well received.
