The variable <code>definition-prefixes</code> holds a hashtable which maps a prefix to the corresponding list of files to load for it. Entries to this mapping are added by calls to <code>register-definition-prefixes</code> which are generated by <code>update-file-autoloads</code> (see <a href="autoload">Autoload</a>).
