+ <h4 class="subsection">Frame Type</h4> <p>A <em>frame</em> is a screen area that contains one or more Emacs windows; we also use the term “frame” to refer to the Lisp object that Emacs uses to refer to the screen area. </p> <p>Frames have no read syntax.
