chore(todo): close completed tasks, add manual-validation checks
Mark the five tasks finished this session DONE (ctrl+backspace in EAT, deferred GPG prompt, F1 in EAT, all-the-icons removal, nov reading view) and file their hands-on checks as VERIFY children under "Manual testing and validation". Extend the nov reading-view check with the font-size persistence and per-palette structural-face steps from this session's work.
